Online Advertising Start-Up ReTargeter Boasts 9th Straight Quarter of Revenue Growth Up 217% in Second Quarter

Adds 260 clients in first half of 2011 – Hires Project Frog Director of Sales as VP of Revenue & Operation

SAN FRANSICO — August 1, 2011 — The leader in the online advertising retargeting space,, today announced a market-topping second quarter revenue boost of 217% year-over-year, coming off the launch of the company’s new advertising platform interface that provides clients with a dashboard specifically addressing their information needs. ReTargeter has seen revenue growth for nine straights quarter and raised revenue growth outlook for the year, with the addition of more than 260 new clients in the first half of 2011.

“Triple digit growth is a great way to start the year,” said Arjun Dev Arora, Chief Executive Officer of ReTargeter, LLC. “Unlike most start-ups, ReTargeter was profitable six months after launch, and after adding 260 new client partners, the total billings annualized revenue is off the chart. We made clear progress in optimization strategy, real-time targeting technology, key partnerships and have positioned ourselves for rapid client growth on the enterprise and agency side. We continued to chalk up wins during the quarter, with several new large enterprise clients joining our expanding list of customers.”

ReTargeter enhances ReTargeting through four main targeting capabilities: Social, Demographic, Geographic, and Contextual., ReTargeter increases conversions of return visitors from 5x-7x, with the average CTRs on banner ads being over 500% higher than that of standard display advertising.

Site traffic has grown over 120% for Q2 year-over-year and 61% between Q1 and Q2 2011. The company’s continued success has caused their customer base to grow 41% Between Q1 and Q2, with SEOmoz, LoopFuse, SendGrid, Twilio, and Break Media leading the way of new clients. ReTargeter served more ad impressions in Q2 than all of 2010; with the total amount of ad impressions for Q2 year-over-year grew 613%.

To support ReTargeter’s growth strategy, the company has increased its work force by over 50% since the start of the year, including hiring Vik Duggal as Vice President of Revenue & Operation. Duggal was most recently the Director, Sales at Project Frog, and the founder of, the construction industry online community. ReTargeter is also relocating into new offices located in downtown San Francisco that will allow them to scale with the company’s recent growth. The 4,500 sq ft. office is four times the size of the company’s first office.
