Brick Phones to Smart Phones: The Growth of Mobile Advertising


Do you remember those brick phones from the 80s that, at two pounds, could double as a doorstop? They allowed 30 minutes of talk time, required 10 hours to fully charge, and had “buttons.” Today’’s cell phones feature high definition touch screens, cameras, internet connectivity, and access to more apps than you could ever need, (their door-stopping abilities are lacking — maybe there’s an app for it?).
